How does Victor Frankenstein demonstrate a fear of the powers of nature and science? Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein demonstrates the fear of the power of science in a couple different ways. First, Victor fails to realize his obsession with science has any power over him (this is recognized by the readers). Secondly, Victor's success at reanimating life leads to his own demise and loss of loved ones. This illustrates the idea that people should fear the power of science given it (science) is, essentially, the unknown.

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men" This phrase basically means that most men that are enriched with power are usually corrupt and absolute power which gives the total power corrupts absolutely. For instance the government, which has power is corrupt most of the times, but absolute power corrupts absolutely for example Hitler had absolute power which lead to corrupt absolutely for the Nazis.

My Child

If I was able to choose genetic traits of my future children, I would select none, because I want my child to have his/her ancient traits. For Instance I being half Mexican(Hispanic) and half Norwegian(European) is a very unique mix of races and I would not like for that to change because by doing that I am also giving up traits in my family that could disappear entirely and what makes a family unique, well is being unique. In addition I disapprove in modifying traits because either way you'll love your child and also I would be destroying future family traits.
